Arizona built a shipping container wall. Texas built buoy walls and razor wires. The Biden administration sued both states and forced them to remove their border security through a Supreme Court decision made yesterday which permits US Border Patrol agents to remove razor wire deployed by Texas GOP Gov. Greg Abbott’s security initiative at the US-Mexico border while the state’s legal challenge to the practice plays out.
Meanwhile, whole states are being crippled by the demands on health care, housing, education to the extent that the actual taxpayers are now suffering from the shortages. Small towns are being up-ended by an influx of strangers that shake up their stays quo and bring fear and suspicion to places that were calm and safe. Big cities are seeing spikes in crime.

SCOTUS has ruled the Feds can continue sabotaging barriers along the border to ensure it remains wide open until this case progresses through the courts.
To be clear the Supreme Court ruling yesterday was specifically about the court order pertaining to cutting the razor wire fence. The 5th Circuit still needs to hear the actual case on its merits and there is every chance that Texas will prevail here as this Court has earned a reputation for making very conservative rulings.

Governor Greg Abbott, the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), and the Texas National Guard continue to work together to secure the border; stop the smuggling of drugs, weapons, and people into Texas; and prevent, detect, and interdict transnational criminal activity between ports of entry.
Since the launch of Operation Lone Star, the multi-agency effort has led to over 496,000 illegal immigrant apprehensions and more than 38,500 criminal arrests, with more than 34,900 felony charges. In the fight against the fentanyl crisis, Texas law enforcement has seized over 453 million lethal doses of fentanyl during this border mission.
